     Every lady’s libido is different & that is totally normal. More often than not, our libido begins to decrease with age (ugh!). To help keep that sex life 100 no matter how old you are, we’ve put together six ways you can naturally enhance your libido.

Focus On Your Self Confidence

     Self love is self care, baby! If you can’t look at yourself (butt naked, we might add) in the mirror and show that bod of yours some love and compassion, how do you expect your partner(s) to? Boosting your self confidence will not only help lift your libido but it will also make you way more attractive to your partner(s)–*trust us* they’ll notice the difference.

Try Maca 

     It’s time you meet Maca, the magical root vegetable used to enhance sex drive and fertility. Luckily, this powerful plant can be consumed in many forms–including powder, capsules, and even liquid. Our favorite way to weave Maca into our diet is to add one tbsp of Maca powder to our morning smoothie. Now that’s what we call a smoothie with ~all~ the benefits!

Move Your Bod

     Okay, what does exercise not help with!? Well, we can add libido to the list! Exercise has been proven to increase libido as it helps to improve your body image, your cardiovascular health, and even your sympathetic nervous system. We’re not picking favorites–no specific type of exercise is better than another, babe. The important piece is just to get your bod moving, any which way you like best…like your (sex) life depends on it!

Try Libido Enhancing Foods

     We’ve all heard about aphrodisiacs like oysters, but if those sexy sea shells aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other foods that contribute to an increased sex drive. Fresh produce, whole grains, and legumes are all stamina and circulation boosters, while oysters (hello again!), red meat and pine nuts are rich in zinc and help regulate testosterone and stamina. Peppers, tea, cocoa, and citrus are all high in flavonoids, which help prevent sexual disfunction as well.

Spice Up Your Sex Life 

     The key to keeping your libido at an all time high? Here’s a fun one…try new things with your partner! If your sex life has been feeling “same old” lately, it may be time to reframe your mindset. Prioritizing intimacy and quality time are a great start, seamlessly making it easier to get ~in the mood~.

     Watermelon, a.k.a. nature’s viagra, has an amino acid called L-citrulline. L-citrulline enlarges your blood vessels and sends blood directly to the genitals. Added bonus: it’s delicious! Did somebody say watermelon margaritas?!
